Events

Please join Tuv Steering Committee member Liz Schwartz and her partner Beth Hamon for a Shabbat afternoon get-together on Saturday, July 24 from 2-4pm. This casual, relaxed gathering in our garden in NE Portland is in conjunction with a nationwide event sponsored by Hazon, the New York-based Jewish environmental organization that created Tuv Ha'Aretz. Different Hazon chapters around the country will come together on this Shabbat to meet one another, eat local food, and learn about the Jewish food movement.

What to bring:

Yourselves
Some locally grown or produced food to nosh on. Examples of local food can be something from a farmer's market, or food from your home garden or CSA box. Note:  this is not a meal; finger foods are best.

Please RSVP to csa@portlandtuv.org by Thursday July 22 so we know how many folks to expect. Address will be sent after you RSVP.
